Great band from The Netherlands! Unfortunately I haven't seen them live yet. Love both their albums  *horns*.

Going to see them on 20th November in Hengelo. Their keyboard player Gerben Klazinga convinced me, they're going to play about 75 minutes. Their whole upcoming album 'Realm of Shadow' and a few 'golden oldies'  8). Two other bands will play: Ulysses and Sons of Seasons. According to Gerben the latter one will be the main act, because it has a few bandmembers of Kamelot  *horns*.

Well, one bandmember of Kamelot: Oliver Palotai, who's the keyboard-player in Kamelot since 2005. He seems to fit well there. He's also the boyfriend of Simone Simons, so good reasons to be jealous  ;D

Ulysses is quite good, actually.
Have you heard their latest album The Gift Of Tears?
I personally believe that it's a very good album.

Doesn't that violate one of the cardinal laws of rock: the drummer gets the girl?

Don't get it, Greenie. Isnt it usually the singer who gets first choice ?  And what makes Simone "the girl" ?  I thought I had the girl - or at least Michael or Paul (never figured who of'm got her in the end)  ;D

And this diversion is gettin us into night area  :D

In the States, it's the drummer (notably Tommy Lee of Mötley Crüe), although band members in general probably fare pretty well.  And if you need to ask what makes Simone "the girl," perhaps you need to take a closer look (assuming Oliver isn't the jealous type).  Of course, I'm a sucker for redheads, but I do believe she'd be very good-looking even if her hair were puce.  And thinking your girl is "the girl" is a good thing, assuming she's smart enough to appreciate that attitude.  I have no idea which Michael, Paul, and her you're referring to, so not able to opine on the last bit.

Also, I can't help but go off topic here since I don't even know what Knight Area is.  Is it a band or a place or sumpin' else?

In that case, I'm proud I didn't know what you were referring to.   :P   My brain was too proggy to process it!    ;D
