Title: Tarquin??
Post by: PH on Fri, 2006-05-12, 10:52:29
I just stumbled upon a website where they talked about John 'Tarquin' Mitchell...

And in 1998 he looked like this:

Wow... what a change! :D

So my question is, why was John Mitchell called 'Tarquin'?
And do the other bandmembers have (or had) odd nicknames?

And are there any other strange, odd, weird pictures of the band?

Oh man, I'm laughing to death. :D :D :D

Although not a nickname I do think that Clive looks like Mikey from Orange County Choppers - (American Chopper as shown on Discovery channel)

Hahahahahaha, yes indeed! ;)
But Mike makes better bikes than Clive I think.

Oh, and Clive makes better music than Mike, of course! ;)

If you've seen the show you'll know that that's not necessarily the case!!!

Well, actually I've seen the show just once. And that was two days ago, LOL. But of course I've seen the commercials for it. And while it looks as it is fun, I think the show itself isn't that great... But maybe I have to watch it some more times.
I love Brainiac by the way. But that's REALLY WAAAYY off topic.

I actually do like the show, but you have to wonder how much of the friction between Paul Snr & Paul Jnr is just for the cameras!!

The Teutils (OCC) do build some great bikes - Mikey though, it has to be said, tends not to contribute much to the build - his talents (if he has any) don't lie in custom-bike building :D :D

Mikey Rules !

Do i need to say more?  ::) He is always soo relaxed and has a really good sense of humor...
I don't really like the program tho. Like mdread666 said, it's all just for the camera and to get nice shots. It's a bit too much if you ask me. but i do watch it if there is nothing else on tv.

ok... how of topic can you get,

To get on topic again:
That 2nd picture is pretty funny  :P , i hope for him that it's not really cold on stage  ;)

I know, but I didn't realize 'till now.
They're quite good!

So Arena used to be a comedyband, they have become more serious over the years.

Yeah, but I don't know Andy Edwards that much. I only know him from replacing the other guy as drummer for IQ.

1. Who was the other guy and why did he left?
2. What else did or does Andy do?
3. None of the above
