Devlin never really got on with his tortoise. It was a wonder he could wake up every morning, with that gnawing feeling of busfare. Devlin never really loved his cat, although he would ache over many a thumb just to feel that cool fresh engine. Devlin was agonisingly short for a man of 12 foot seventeen inches, he never gave dramatics to fishes. devlin was ice cold stretching rack in his prime.....Funny the way the gin used to go so quick though. Devlin was primed for toothache and gum boils in more ways than the queen would ever dare tell Germany. Devlin moved stealthily in his earwig kind of way. I could never understand his disputes with morning dew, although many a fine English picnic was had by Toasty Burns.

A little explanation needed here. On the Rush forums somebody started a topic informing us that the Bible is now available on ITunes for downloading to IPods. Someone else joked that IPods should be renamed God Pods. And so I added this little story ...

In the Garden of Eden God planted a tree and on that tree grew Apples! God looked at the Apples and saw that they were good so he decided to make them omniscient. They then evolved into a higher form of life (see Sir Clive Nolan the AppleMacAdventist for further details) and invented lots of machines to help humankind to progress. Among the machines which they invented was a cute little device called a God Pod ... on which the poor little misguided humans could listen to the Word of God ... and thus receive the spiritual guidance which they desperately needed.

God listened to his God Pod ... and he heard that it was good!

(I amended the reference to Clive Nolan on this thread because my original referred to a member of the Rush forums who is into Mac computers ... and you lot wouldn't know that person!)

I like his leather kilt, it suits him. But since he wears leather trousers underneath, I doubt that even with his manic leaping and falling onto his knees that we would ever get to see what lies beneath ...

He did strip off the kilt near the end of the gig, and after the gig had finished and the band had gone offstage, he must have remembered that he'd left it on the stage ... he came back and hastily collected it.

Mac's kilt and Clive "ApfelMacAdventist" Nolan's long leather coat ... both very desirable items of prog memorabilia!

I digress ...

How long does apple sauce keep in the fridge? I have half a jar of the stuff in there and I want to eat it but I don't want to eat it in case it's no longer fit for human consumption? Any ideas, Apelmoes??
