My choices are

Floyd, Camel & The Enid

;D
The brainwashed do not know that they are brainwashed...

Proglady

:o I wouldn't necesarily call 'Uriah Heep' an old Prog Band, hm but maybe I'm wrong. ::)
By the way, there is Eloy missing. :o

Ian Lay

Floyd, Genesis and Camel in that order.....

Cheers,

Ian
Worrying is like a rocking chair, it takes you for a ride, but gets you nowhere.

Wilford Jr.

Floyed, Genesis, and Yes.  Those are my choices.
No longer feeling anything
Fading fast
Nothing lasts
Beyond the waking hour

sotonrobin

Pink Floyd, Genesis and ELP for me
Because he was human
Because he had goodness
Because he was moral
They called him insane

Appelmoes??

Ik voted for genesis 'cause it's the only one I know :-[

The Voyager

Simtere

Tough call but in the end I went for The Enid, Camel and Uriah Heep (who in my mind are not only progressive but massively under rated!!!)

Teunis

Genesis, the Phil Collins era.
'I will surrender my heart to the sky
Oh, our love doesn't end here, it lives forever on the wings of time'

Toto - Wings of time (Kingdom of Desire)

gelert

Camel, Genesis, and BJH were my votes...

But I'll take ANY of the others, over current product (sorry Clive...  :-[ )...

"Comfort" albums, as Julian used to call them...

Who's Julian...? Axe-Specialist with my old band...

However, I've VERY recently made it a priority to play a RECENT purchase, at least once-a-night.
That way, I'll keep the pile of "yet-to-be-played" CDs down to a manageable level...including re-issues (Steve Hackett malarkey is on the way...er, hopefully....Malc....?)
But this also keeps me in-touch with the Secret Machines and Kaisser Chiefs of this world...

And when I run out of, er, "new stuff" to play....best I buy something that I've never heard before...
...using advice from from not only my girlfriend's 24-yr old son, but also from you 'ole boys...

...witness my amazing expanding Ayreon headband collection, er, Tonto....!

Now, where've my meds gone...?

Well, we we're all stood at the bar, having ordered our drinks...
...and having nearly finished them, there was still no sign of you...!

Nevermind, your Lager-Shandy-with-BlackCurrant (a half, natch) was found a good home..................!

Xanxtuary

Genesis, Yes and Camel.

The first two I have loved since my teens (like over 20 years) and Camel I have recently gotten into via Hogweed.  I have been listening to loads of Camel just lately and the more I listen, the more I love.

All listed are pretty good except I don't know anything of BJH.

I voted Genesis.
Just Genesis.
No other bands.
Just Genesis.
Just one choice.
Just Genesis.

I would have chosen Pink Floyd, but I like Genesis so much, that it would just not be good to vote for anything else than just Genesis.

Just Genesis ;D :P

Nah, I'm a big fan of Genesis.
I've still not decided which group I like best: Arena or Genesis.

But Arena is what I've set my hopes on, 'cos Genesis disbanded, sort of.

Teunis

I have two live albums of the Phil Collins era.
The way we walk volume 1: The shorts
The way we walk volume 2: The longs
Very good albums! The medley and Home by the sea/Second home by the see are great!

And I have the album 'Calling all stations'. Don't like it as much as the Collins albums.

Toto - Wings of time (Kingdom of Desire)

PH

I have:
- 'Selling England By The Pound' (Peter Gabriel)
- 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway' (Peter Gabriel)
- 'Wind and Wuthering' (Phil Collins)
And I have all songs of Genesis as MP3 on my computer :-X
But I plan on buying them all.
As for Arena.
I already bought Pepper's Ghost and I am a huge fan so I will buy all of the albums.
I first listen to something and when I like it I'll buy it, when I don't like it, I'll get rid of it.

But I came in contact with ProgRock just last year, so I was still exploring.

From no music-listener to ProgRock-listener. :D
My family and friends are laughing at me and my silly stupid music.

Not everyone, I like almost every music you introduced to me. (Except Queensryche  :P )
Thanks, by the way
