Just received a newsletter from one of my favourite prog outlets Beyond Rock (http://www.beyondrock.nl) which lists among the upcoming titles in 2010 Arena - The Tinder Box! *ola* Directly went to Arena's MySpace page to see if I could find any confirmation, but it states "account inactive", so if there's real activity going on in the Arena camp they keep it well hidden ::) Let's wait and see..
That would be great news if it's true! But how would they know? ???
Oh well, I guess we can only wait and keep our fingers crossed until we hear something official... ::)
Tom
Yeah, that would be really great :P
Let's hope that's true !
Of course.
2010 is the year of Arena. 8)
Bring it on, I'm ready for it *horns*. Clive, please confirm ;).
some news would be appreciated indeed. It seems like the arena members don't post here anymore... sad

It sure is.
Clive is still busy though. I've read that he is going to tour with Shadowland.
Oh dear... ::)
Have you read the news? What - you haven't heard?
You haven't heard the news? About Arena?
How did you not hear the brilliant news about Arena?
The news about their new album!
I can't believe nobody's told you!
FROM MYSPACE KIDDIES:
"The next ARENA studio album release on the 1st November 2011 will be call "The Seventh degree of Separation" The tour dates will be announce in the next few weeks so, keep an eye on this page!"
Oh my, you're right!
No "Tinder Box" then? I think that title sounded cool. But "The Seventh Degree Of Separation" sounds great too!
I wonder what we can expect!

I can't believe it either... :(
Woohoo, great news. Bring it on *horns*.
Will this be a continuation on Dream Theater's Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence with the seventh degree being seperation? :P
Let's hope the songs are just as good! *horns*

That's what I thought! ;)
It's quite an unusual title for Arena actually.
Hem, so it's not a joke ? I didn't react because I thought everything came from Matt's imagination :-[
Whatever the title, if the music is as good as SDOIT, I'll be more than satisfied *horns*

Good.
Well, tell all your friends and jump up and down a bit.
But what exactly is the news?
We already knew that Arena was recording a new album and that it would be released somewhere early autumn.
The only thing that's new is the title, which was Tinder Box at first.
I think The Tinder Box just became the working title. Like John Youngs song, Childhoods End had the working title of She Has The Flanks Of A Mammoth Baby. Cant wait for the new album anyway and a gig or two in the UK!

Well nobody else here seemed to know so... it must be news then, musn't it?
And being that it was only put on MySpace the day I put it here... I'd say it's fresh, hot-off-the-press news!
Like just-baked bread first thing in the morning... mmmmmMMMMmmmmmm... 8)
