I pre-ordered Seventh Seperation at Amazon.UK. It should arrive beginning of December. OK with me. I'l play Lion's Cage and Pride meanwhile  :)

Paxi, I'l get around to writing about the Arena albums sometime. It's just that, with all the expertise displayed in this forum, I don't wanna write somethin banal.

Arena's music is serious and first-rate from beginning to end. It calls for serious treatment by listeners. And it gets it here in the Room  8)

It's a different matter with some other first-rate groups and artists like Ten, CC, and KoK

What exactly is AC/DC? What genre? Like which band etc etc.?

Party metal  ;)

After ten good beers, AC/DC is the best music to get me up on the floor dancin - and makin a fool of myself  ;D

I've ordered and received the 3dvd box Out of Season from Marillion.

Haven't watched it yet, because apparently the sinterklaas has took it away to secretly hide it in one of my shoes (size 44) at December fourth.

Alter Bridge - AB III

Talented guys, these. And a superb voice, so thumbs up for Peter :)

Today I was browsing the 'Mediamarkt'. And to my surprise I found the following:
Ambeon - "Fate Of A Dreamer"

I've tried for years to complete my Arjen-related collection and I couldn't resist buying this instantly!

I didn't know Arjen was planning to re-release this album. An expanded edition no less! With a bonus disc filled with acoustic versions of well known Ayreon songs!

Yummy!

8). I own the first pressing, like it a lot!

On my work, we had a 'Christmas market' today. We had 30 euros to spend. I bought the Coldplay album 'Mylo Xyloto'.

After the flood of all those great new releases, time for some old stuff:
Camel - The Snow Goose and Moonmadness
Anthony Phillips - The Geese And The Ghost
Tony Banks - A Curious Feeling

Tony Banks for the second time, now the remastered edition; with the others I waited long enough to get the 2-disc remasters right away 8) Next up will be Tull - Aqualung, also waited for the new remaster with that one.

This afternoon I purchased the Airbag album 'All Rights Removed' and ordered the Wolverine album 'Communication Lost'. Both thanks to progstreaming.com. A nice way to discover new (prog) music!

Mine too!   *horns*

Also, The Old Road is very nice as well.  I don't know the other two you (Bupie) bought.

Thanks for the comments, it sounds promising  :)

Critical Energy is a live DVD from Threshold. With Sean Filkins, I am expecting some clever neo prog but I have not heard a single note yet.

Pendragon   Pure  Another good concept album with a much heavier metal touch to it for sure. Keyboard sampling heaven

Pendragon   World    You either like them or ya can't stand them. I enjoy them

There's somethin about it, Aswas  ;)

I bought Believe a few years ago, mainly cuz of Roomie interest in Pendragon, and I played it a few times, bit it left me somewhat cold. Then Teunis insisted  ;D that I give Pendragon another run, and then - whewee - I really got gripped. Now Passion is one of my often played albums, and I'm lookin forward to listenin to some more P-albums; I'm even likin Believe somewhat  8)

I'm takin a break with the Room for a while, cuz I got tired of writin stuff that I got no response to (particularly my text analysis of Wilderness, which I worked hard on), but if/when I see some openings for sharin, who knows  ;)

Great to know that you are still alive  :)

Don't venture into too wild metal forums while you are away from the Room, though : wilderness can be dangerous, as you know  ;)
