I've heard people say that it's a brilliant release (moonrise) but i haven't heard anything of them yet.
I'm very curious though.

Here's their MySpase: http://www.myspace.com/moonriseband

First two tracks are from the new album, other tracks from their previous album 'Lights of a distant bay', which is also sounding like music to my ears  ;).

Latest purchase is Brian Wilson's SMiLE. Came across it in the bargain bin for the ludicrous price of € 2,50 :o

Stunning album, he really was ahead of his time when he wrote this. A pristine produced recording which is especially rewarding listened with headphones.

Stunning album

Hm, interesting, Erik  :)

There was a lotta hype about it, and I thought it was only the sentimentalists that were worked up, but you claim that it has somethin in it for proggies too ?

I'd say so Nicky, provided you like the Beach Boys' sound in the first place. SMiLe is a layered pop symphony with recurring themes, beautiful instrumentation and some cool experimental bits. It even gets slightly heavy in track 15. It doesn't beat Sgt Pepper but it's a rather unique album and merits repeated listening.

Trying to complete Arena collection. Finally Available Songs from the Lions Cage. PS Glad to be back after a bout with going under the knife. Not a pleasant experience, but I can take a joke. I can only laugh over these last 6 months, cuz noone hears ya cry. Glad to be back in the room

Glad to have you back in good shape  ;)

Just bought the Amazon download of

Phideaux - 313

The CD version is unavailable, and I felt the need to complete my collection.  On the plus side, it was nice and inexpensive because I had some MP3 credits they'd awarded from previous CD purchases.   :)

It's a tie hopefully we don't have to use Devin Townsend as a tie breaker.  ;D

After reading a couple of reviews I ordered Gazpacho's 'A Night At Loreley'-DVD yesterday. Now - not even 24 hours later - I already got the confirmation that it's on it's way to me. Wrong thread, I know, but a big YAY! :D

No other studio LP (I'll let other Roomies talk about EP's) but you have at least two interesting live albums : Live and Life (Cd+Dvd) and Breakfast In Biarritz (a favorite of our deeply missed Steve J  :'().
