Hey Moviedrome! :)

Interesting question!

Favourite keyboard solos:
- The very dreamy keyboard solo in Valley Of The Kings (3:52-4:58).
- The whole instrumental section of Solomon (7:07-10:49, 'the guitar and keyboard dialogue').
- In The Blink Of An Eye (2:17-3:04), which became some sort of a trademark for Clive's solos.
- The 'water-into-wine' solo of Chosen (5:03-5:49)
- The 'flute' solo in Waiting For The Flood (2:33-3:14)
- The 'no-one-can-do-this-better-than-Clive' solo in Moviedrome (7:13-7:26)
- Salamander (2:25-2:49)
- On The Box
- Riding The Tide

Favourite guitar solos:
- The very Pink Floydish guitar solo in Midas Vision (2:20-3:00)
- Double Vision (0:20-1:12 and 2:28-2:45), actually this song sounds like it is a guitar solo with breaks of vocal parts in it.
- Elea (1:03-2:10), obviously.
- The Hanging Tree (3:57-4:33 and 6:34-7:08 (the 'Hanging Tree' theme))
- Serenity, ofcourse.
- Tears In The Rain (2:35-3:16), one of the best and emotional ones (also thanks to the keyboard backup from 2:55 to 3:16)
- The Visitor (3:13-5:49), with the lenghty 'Hanging Tree' theme again! *horns*
- The Butterfly Man (2:48-4:09), only John knows how.
- Moviedrome (check them all out! ;))
          - 7:26-7:38 (strange and scary)
          - 11:12-12:08 (one of the beauties)
          - 12:42-13:37 (one of the beauties pt. 2)
          - 15:21-15:31 (what's going on here?)
          - 15:53-16:03 (what's going on here again?)
          - 16:20-16:40 (the scariest)
- Witch Hunt (2:44-3:16)
- Painted Man (1:54-2:53)
- This Way Madness Lies
- Never Ending Night (0:56-2:05), with a tasty Salamander keyboard preview somewhere in there.
- On The Box, second part of the song.

I think I'll stop and let the rest find out about all the other solos. :P

;D ;D ;D

It's an Arena album.  It contains my favourite Arena solo.  This is an Arena forum.  No, of course you shouldn't invest, save your money for Celine's next one ;)

I guess there's no shortage of Arena live albums these days, even if they haven't reached Deep Purple or King Crimson levels quite yet.  But Biarritz remains my favourite, partly because it was the first Arena Live I bought, but also because I think the performance is top drawer.  Serenity, as mentioned, blows me away, plus there's a mesmerising version of Moviedrome as an opener.  So yes, I'd say it's essential, coming just after air, food and water ;)

a couple of them. I like Clive in Moviedrome It is awesome. What a minds eye he has
Solomon-the instrumental section where I feel John and Clive are so in tuned with each other, they are talking through their instruments to each other
Moviedrome is a classic epic that tells a great story, sung well, and the music speaks for itself-incredible
