Apple Pie from Kursk

I have a recommendation for you, it's Apple Pie from Kursk / Russia. Their music is progressive and very melodic.  I just bought their CD "Crossroads" from http://www.justforkicks.de and I love it!

Apple Pie sounds very good indeed! But I prefer Magic over Apples (sorry Applemoes??, maybe if you change your name to Magicmoes?? or something... )

OH SHIT!!! This band is really even better than I thought!
A bit of Crossroad sounds like Blind Faith from Dream Theater though.
And many other bits are very much plagiarism of Spock's Beard actually.

But this is indeed a very nice treat! From Russia... Didn't see that coming...

So like i said in the 'now playing' thread: Today i received the cd of Crossroad. Like i said before, it's very good. The missing link between Spocks Beard and Dream Theater. These are very talented guys, i tell you. 

But....

They definitely should work on their English. It's even worse that mine.  [/shock-multiplied by 2]

A little piece of advice: if you ever listen to their album, don't read the lyrics at the same time. 
And that's a big dipper.

Hm, I have to listen and Read the album again. If your right.....  , we should not forget, that in Russia they don't teach english in school.

You're right about that. Unfortunately it shows but the music and the ideas they've put in their arrangements is still beyond doubt. Like i said they are very talented.
