There's no proper sub-forum for a topic for artwork :-\

Peter?

Am I right that you're a bodypainter? Anyhow, whatever art it may be, feel free to post a link.

However I wás serious about the group portrait. I think a portrait of the quality of Dukas would be excellent. The band might even put it in the booklet :-)

Me - a bodypainter? Not quite, but I like the idea!  ;)
(Actually I just do paintings as a hobby, to decorate my own home and the homes of my friends.)

I'll leave the group portrait to Dukas, I'm sure that would be great!

Ah.... I thought that you were, because you wanted the band to pose 'nude'.....

I think you don't realise what you're asking for, by the way.  ;D

JJ II:  Have you ever thought of portraying the Arena-boys in a group-portrait?

Bluepony:  What I'm doing is a completely different kind of "art" - I'm not sure it should be posted here...

Nicky:  Wow, the Arena guys, in Nature's dress!

Nicky.

Well, I didn't start this whole "naked" thing!!! (see above)

Hmmm... this is somewhat scary... does that mean YOU want to see them in the nude, Nicky?  ;)

We too....  ???

But I think it all started with your line that your "art was not suitable for display"....[or different words along the same lin'].

That was food for thought for some here....

So can you show us some of your work?

What I meant was that my paintings are not Arena-related, that's why they shouldn't be on an Arena forum.

If you explain to me how I can post a jpg-file, I think I have no other choice than to show you guys what I mean!

That why I asked for a subforum where we can post our own products of creativity, like drawings, painting, poems etc...

You will have to put that picture online somewhere. I use imageshack, but there are other sites like deviant art. Just look for one that suits you and you understand.
After having done that, you need to get the url from that uploaded image. You can get that by rightclicking on the image, go to properties and copy the the "location" or "url".
Then you type:
Code: [Select]
[img]paste the url you copied and type:
Code: [Select]
[/img]
You should see something like this:
Code: [Select]
You can always use the preview button to see if it works.

See, this is just what I don't want. I may be willing to show my artwork to the people here, but not to anybody who happens to be in the internet!  :o

If you put it on a myspace you can make the picture "private". I believe you can also do that on Imageshack.

Hey, real nice, Bluepony. You're very diverse in your style. I can see the Kandinsky inspiration in the second pic.

And how about the naked men?  ;D

I really like the aquarels/waterpaintings. They look clean and the colours are clear and bright!

You know that men and women look a bit different when they take their clothes off, it's only about 1%, but it makes life a lot more fun - and enduring  ;D

I like your drawings - I'm no good at all at that, so that's something I really admire. (I was forced to do some pencil drawings at school, but I quickly gave it up as soon as I was able. However, one of them is still on a wall at my parents' house, so I guess it can't be THAT bad...)  ;)

Thanks, Appy, for letting us see some of your drawings and sharing some of your experiences and thoughts with us.

Great drawings, imaginative, and lots of fine details.

I enjoyed your visual effects too, the flowing in and out of the drawings. Did you do that yourself?

You mention that one of your passions is listening to progrock. That's news  ;D
