I hadn't bought anything for a while but I couldn't resist this time.

Ordered Metarmophosis and She from progrock.co.uk ...

... plus Unia, Ecliptica and Songs from the Sparkle Lounge from priceminister.com

Don't give the names of the bands to let you search a bit  ;D

And now I am ruined  :P

Steve Jones

Threshold - Subsurface.  And very good it is, too  :)

Been scooping up Dan Fogelberg CDs. Had his stuff on vinyl but never on CD. Got some remastered ones that sound pretty good. He died last December. It's not prog, but his music is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Looking forward to picking up Porcupine Tree's "Lightbulb Sun," Opeth's "Watershed" next month when they're available in the U.S.

Anyone have PT's "Nil Recurring"? Is it worth having?

If you like 'Fear of a Blank Planet' then it's very much worth having - more of the same kind of thing.  Personally I enjoy 'Nil Recurring' a little bit more, but only a tiny little bit!  :)

I've not ordered it yet, but it's only a matter of time.  Despite the death-metal-growl vocals there's quite a bit of more melodic stuff on the average Opeth album, a mix of quiet and loud bits that works well for me.  As long as the new album doesn't stray too far from this established formula I reckon it'll be a safe bet.  :)

Opeth 'Still Life' (Re-issue with DVD)
RPWL 'Start the Fire' (I've been so impressed with RPWL that I've bought most of the albums in about a month - just need 'God has Failed' now.  Awesome band.  Shine on you crazy Germans!  *horns* )

I've got the day off work today, and absolutely no demands on my time whatsoever.  What ever shall I do?  I know, how about some music...  ;D

Magenta Home/New York Suite/Night & Day (3 CD bundle)

I was deceived by those three but I have to give New York Suite a few more proper listens.

Ordered Porcupine Tree's DVD Arriving Somewhere yesterday and I hope it will help me to dig PT better since so far I only have Signify and Deadwing and am not impressed  :(  despite a few good/great songs here and there (i.e. Dark Matter  *horns*).

Oooooo! That's a very good DVD!
Gavin's drumskills are  :-*.
And the rest of the band is good too.
And a good list of songs.

Queensrÿche - Operation: Mindcrime (Deluxe Edition)

I'm filling some gaps in the Queensrÿche collection at the moment.  This is the 3 disc version which includes Mindcrime itself, plus a Hammy Odeon 1990 live CD and the 'Video Mindcrime' DVD.  8)

Edited for a second delivery:

Queensrÿche - Tribe.  The only Queensrÿche studio album I hadn't got, or even heard.  :-[
Beardfish - Sleeping in Traffic: Part Two.  Hurrah!  After being knocked out by progtastic part one, I've been eagerly awaiting the second CD.  I think I'll cancel all plans for the rest of the weekend and just sit listening to Beardfish.  ;D

Joe Jackson - Look Sharp
Joe Jackson - Night And Day
Joe Jackson - Body And Soul

Most of my Joe Jackson collection never made it onto CD, something I've now taken steps to correct thanks to Amazon selling the above titles for a mere 2.98 UK pounds  8)

It's ironic that Body and Soul was one of the earliest albums I heard on CD back when they first came out, but it was a copy loaned from a friend.  It's been on my 'Buy Soon' list for over 20 years!  :-[

Great. I don't see I'm the Man on your list, my favorite album of his. The double CD Live 1980-1986 is also a must-have  8)

Certainly one I want, however the object of the exercise was to snap up the 2.98 items while they were going cheap.  I can't resist a bargain.  :P
