Opeth - "Blackwater Park: Deluxe Edition" with the two pretty acoustic tunes on it. These guys are closet folkies, I think.

You're right, Funkster. The Drapery Falls for instance is one of the best tunes Opeth ever made. Chill factor 10 i'd say.  ;D

Amen to that Brother  ;D

And how could we have forgotten Damnation  :-[ Almost an acoustic album but no death metal vocals and some genuinely moving songs.

Opeth  = best and most innovative metal band on the planet

Oh yeah. When i first heard Windowpane i was stunned. What a marvellous album and a contrast to the other album Deliverance. But that was the idea of course.  ;)

Acquired myself the Limited Edition of Transatlantic's SMPTe. Saw it on marktplaats.nl and didn't hesitated for a moment. Apparently some lady had enough of it and gave me the opportunity to buy it.  :D

Yep, Blackfield II is a great album, but a little bit short (42 min). Porcupine Tree is a band that really doesn't grab me  :-\.

Just ordered my third Shadow Gallery album called 'Tyranny'  *horns*

Line-up/Musicians
- John Jowitt / bass guitar, vocals
- Mark Westwood / guitar
- Clive Nolan / keyboards, vocals
- Andy Edwards / drums
- Alan Reed / vocals
- Nick Barrett / guitar, vocals
- John Barnfield / keyboards

The music is great  8) (no news with this line-up of course), but sometimes you get a little bit dizzy by the change of camera positions, if you know what I mean :-\. But a great addition to my DVD collection  *horns*. I was impressed by John Jowitt's LEAD vocals on 'Erosion' and Alan Reed is a great singer too! Clive does the lead vocals on 'Mind Games'. Weird to see Clive without his keyboards  ;D.
