Great choice, debsss. Though i don't quite understand why they postponed it so much. It didn't made the DVD any better.  :-\

Not exactly a purchase, but last night I recorded a one-hour show by David Gilmour, a kind of "semi-unplugged concert", with guest appearances by Michael Kamen and Robert Waytt, and a "Sam Brown" is doing backings, don't know if it's the one we all know...

Fabulous, fantastic, awesome. Love it!
Arriving somewhere, but not here....

Yes it is, she has been a backing vocalist for years, she says she prefers to be part of a band rather to be out front on her own.

Speaking of Porcupine Tree...

Because I'm almost turning 19 (Tuesday) I got Porcupine Tree - Stupid Dream (Expanded 2 Disc Edition) from my parents today! :)
Which comes with a DVD with 5.1 surround sound versions of the songs.
Problem is, it won't play the songs...
(I don't have a 5.1 surround set but it HAS to give SOME sound, or what?)

Anyway, the music is nice whatsoever. ;D

Thanks Mom and Dad! ;)

This week i ordered and received Yellow Matter Custard.  8)

Yeah that's cool Maddox, a cover band. ::)
Just kidding, these guys are brilliant! I really liked their brilliance(?) on the Morse Bonus discs. The covers are even so good that I think they're better than the original.
For example U2's Where The Streets Have No Name, I don't like U2 but Morse and co did a good job on it!

I like your new avatar by the way! It's very... Christmas-ish.

Well, opinions differ. I prefer the original. But then again, i'm a fan of U2.  *horns*

Not that i don't like Mr. Morse btw. He's brilliant too.

Obviously it's a temporary one. I'm really getting into the Christmas spirit. The only thing missing is...SNOW.  :-\
But then again, it's not Christmas yet so...

*doing the snow-dance.  ;D

I think the're both ok, mainly because the're so alike. I expected a little more from Neal though, he could have made a great progversion of it, but I guess the song is hard to cover and still keep that unique sound. Compliments for U2 for making such a unique song then *horns*

I thought it was about time I brought my own copy of DREAM THEATER - 'Metropolis 2: Scenes From A Memory', and give my mate his copy back. (He was missing it y'see!)

I purchased 'Ten Years On' as well.

...amongst other things... ;)
...Is this just a dream I'm in?
