Sad, just read on Facebook that Piotr Grudziński, Riverside's guitarist, passed away this morning :'(.

It is not mentioned. Yesterday evening he attended a Winery Dogs gig, this morning he died, 40 years old :(

A contrast to the previous posts, which indeed is pretty sad to say the least...

But I feel good! :)
Yesterday I attended at the Dream Theater concert at Carré, Amsterdam and it was quite good.
A bit disappointed about the stage performance but the band played sublime.

And tonight I'm going to Carré again! :)  *horns*

Have fun Maddox! But that won't be too much of a problem I guess.
But what's wrong with their stage performance?

You know, if you ever want to have fun at a concert, you should go to an A.C.T gig. I saw them in 2007. Man, that was awesome. Best gig I ever attended. Not that I attended many gigs, but still...

I'm feeling fantastic!
Drinking a Carlsberg beer while sitting in the sun in front of the mobile home here in the Lake District, UK while listening to Huis' new album after a long walk around the Aira Force area.
With eleven more days of our holiday ahead of us, I'm feeling great!

Stressed and relieved.

My daughter just had her first day on her new school.
No more basic school but now it's going to be a bit harder for her.
My daughter is autistic so she requires a different kind of attention than other kids, but she did just fine today, though she was a bit stressed herself.

It's going to be great!  8)

I'm sooooo envious right now... I really wanted to see this, but was in doubt of the date and now I'm too late, because it was sold out in what was it? 12 hours???
Amazing! It's still a long way to go, but I hope you'll have a great time!

Okay this is weird:

I feel a bit pissed.
As you might know, I like to play a video game once in a while. Don't have (or take) much time for it lately, but I play "Skyrim", which is a beautiful game with a really nice soundtrack. I'm sure most of you would like it. Anyway, I decided to buy the soundtrack (which consists of four discs!) in March this year. Unfortunately, it's still not here. Of course I emailed a lot back and forth. First they said they had a manufacturing problem. Then it was a shipping problem, etc etc. And now, after eight months I still don't have what I paid for. Here in Holland we have several tv programmes (like "Radar" or "Kassa" or "Opgelicht") who contact such companies and make them do whatever they promised. I was wondering if one of you know of such tv programmes (or websites or whatever) in the USA that I can contact?

I wrote this three years ago. There was no contact and no reply at all from this company.
Until last week.

And this is what they said to me:

"Hi Paco, Sorry for the late reply on getting back to you about your purchase. We were wondering if you still wanted the cd or if you would like a refund? If you do want the cd, all we need is your current mailing address. We apologize for how long you have had to wait for any communication. We know that there is no excuse for what you have been put through. Thank you for your patience."

Hahaha I can't believe this! After almost four years I'll probably get my purchased cd. What do you think about that?
And then there's people who go mad at us for illegal downloading...

Anyway, it has to be said: very very cool that they had the balls to actually contact me after so long. Really like that!

Hope so to. :)

And now that Arjen is working on a new Ayreon album, it can only get better. :)

After the recent events in nearby Manchester and having taken my eldest to his first concert last Friday I feel profound sadness as such a senseless loss of life. Children being killed for the "sin/crime" of attending a concert is deplorable.

I understand how you feel, and I'm too very sad about these events.
Yesterday it happend again, makes me wonder when will it stop but at the same time I feel it's hypocritical that the western media is making such a big event out of this.
Such attacks, which most of the times are even worse than the attacks in Manchester, London or where ever in the western world, are almost daily routine in the middle east.
Remember that most of the victims of these terrorists attacks, are muslims.
But those attacks are considered as page-two news.
Don't get me wrong, what happend in the UK is dreadful, but not more dreadful because it happend in the UK. It happens everywhere in the world.  :'( :'( :'(
