I feel for you right now, ´cos 20years ago I failed the oral test in Geography for my final exam at high school. 4 out of 15 points, and they felt generous with giving me them 4 at all. I´m glad today that I can tell where Ireland is or the capital of uruguay. But that didn´t count those days, I had to explain the industrial development of Russia in the 20th century...my god.
At that time I used some lessons of geography to learn the 51 states of the USA by heart ... still remember them today. My only success in geographic matters.
Anyway I cross my fingers for your upcoming tests and ... keep the faith !
I heard The US had 51 states. One state can be split up in two... (Washington or something... (dunno, I'm no American...)) I learned it 'cos of one populair children's program in The Netherlands called: "Bassie en Adriaan"
*sings* "Bassie en Adriaan, Bassie en Adriaan. Dat zijn de beste vrienden, die je maar kunt vinden."
(Translation for the poor "I-want-to-know-everything-people":
"Bassie and Adriaan, "Bassie and Adriaan. That are the best friends, you'll ever fiend.")
