Yes - only joined earlier this year but enjoy the mag and have picked up on some bands I hadn't heard off such as Bluehorses. It's just a shame all the gigs are 'opp north'!

As a Bristolian I only have Dio and Motorhead to look forward to this year  ;)

Steve

Ah, nice one. I was a member for around 7 years but got a bit fed up with Martin Hudson's constant whining and then when the mag went to every 2 months let the subs lapse  :-[ . How is he anyway, still moaning about the lack of attendance at gigs  ;)

Blue Horses are cool  8)

Cheers  ;D

Yep, still moaning about attendances... I must confess I wouldn't be going to Sheffield to see Arena if the Progsfest night hadn't been cancelled. Sheffield and Doncaster aren't the easiest places to get to for everyone!

That's nice to know  :D . In this era of constant change, his consistency is reassuring  ;)

Still keep in touch with RTB Man Dave Kennedy, he's a really decent bloke  :)

Being 15 may make me the youngest.
I'm not overly fond of that frog. A 12-Gauge Shotgun springs to mind.

Arriving somewhere, but not here....

43.5% around this place seem to be between 20 and 29 at the moment. Maybe I should have waited some months to vote here to support the 30 to 39ers  :-\

But it's already a long time since someone voted or posted here anyway.  :D

Maybe the poll should have been made with birthyears? That way you would stay in the same 'group' :)

I already supported that group I'm 30, join the oldies I would say
Walk along the Waterfall, watching as the world turns red
Wonder where the river flows, and the blood on the River bed
Poison lies to close to us, Reach across the salt and Sand
Moving Deeper into the Land

There are no fans over the 50, maybe there's a big fishplace for new Arenafans to find there. Let's promote Arena for 50+, there must be fans there for Arena, maybe also old Marillion fans in that group that can also like Arena as well.

Maybe that age group only isn't interested in sharing their interests online.  ???

Btw., it's great to revive a topic that easily.  ;D

That's the best statement I've seen in ages. I only wish this is true for others as well. Lots to look forward to.  ;)

fun to see so many differend ages around here...

This really proofs that no matter how old/young you are... you are never too old/young to be a fan of Arena  ;)

joost

Im 16, but my first Arena concert I visited was @ the age of 9.

Btw, guess the older fans just dont take the time to get used to a computer.

It's the older people that wrote and developed the hardware and software and taught you younger ones how to use it. You kids seem to think you are the only generation able to understand computing, but it's my generation and the generation before mine that concieved the concept of the computer.

I need to get my blood pressure back down now!
