O.S.I. - Fire Make Thunder

I didn't know this one existed, completely passed me by! :-[ :-[ :-[

It's a nice album! A true continuation from their previous album "Blood". I especially like the last song Invisible Men!

I predicted that in 2015 they would bring out another album. (2003 - 2006 - 2009 - 2012 - 2015?) But unfortunately that didn't happen. Probably because Jim is more active with Fates Warning these days. I guess there won't be a new release this year either. So my guess is late 2017, or even 2018, because I don't know whether they're even writing. A new OSI album is insta-buy for me.

Disturbed: Immortalized
Disturbed: Asylum

Sounds like a Tech/experimental metal band's name but knowing you, I guess it's something different  :)

Can't wait to get my hands on the new Kansas album that is being released tomorrow. I know I will probably end disappointed and I already noticed that the cover artwork is just terrible but still ...

Marillion - F*** Everyone And Run 8)

So you got it. (Of course)
I have only listened to it while I was working, one morning. So take the following statement with a pinch of salt.
I did not experience it as the big step forward like everyone says. Didn't expect it either to be honest. It's the usual Marillion. Not bad (perhaps even good) but nothing surprising.
Of course, I will also buy this album, because every Marillion album has something to like. I hope (and it probably is) a grower.

Tell me, is it worth the wait? ;)
I've heard that a lot of people, who pre-ordered the album, are still waiting for their copy.
It looks like an adventurous album, hope it's good.
Like PH, will buy the album as well, but probably the regular version.
The big box looks rather expensive to me.

NP> Pain of Salvation ~ Remedy Lane Re-mixed

With Be this could well be their pinnacle of their career.
Marvelous album.  *horns*

I think it's awesome.  And "The New Kings" is up there with "Ocean Cloud" as an all-time Marillion great after only 7 plays *horns*

Yesterday I expanded my cd collection with these:

Marillion - "F.E.A.R."
It's a grower.

Opeth - "Sorceress"
Part three in the retro prog series by Opeth. ;D

Glass Hammer - "Valkyrie"
Part 842 in the Yes tribute album series. ;D ;D

And the InsideOut 'Discovering...' series boxsets of:
Steve Hackett and Devin Townsend

(Also expected to get the Pain Of Salvation boxset, but it was missing in this delivery, hopefully today or tomorrow...)

More about the boxsets in the boxset thread. ;)

Ordered the new The Neal Morse Band album with that difficult title that has yet to sink in.
And ordered the new live album from King Crimson as well.

Bought the Kansas album 'The Prelude Implicit' this afternoon. I doubted between this one and IQ's live album 'Live On The Road Of Bones', but I hardly find myself playing lives albums, so I decided for Kansas. Heard it several times on Spotify, it's great! Back to the old times 8).

I preordered the new Ayreon album today. It's going to be the so-called "Earbook" edition: double album + instrumental double album + dvd.
Ofcourse.

You probably all know that Ayreon's "The Source" has found it's way to my home by now. ;D Or maybe you didn't, but now you do! ;)

But wait, there's more!

At the end of last month I also bought:

Lonely Robot - "The Big Dream"
Iamthemorning - "Lighthouse"
Pain Of Salvation - "In The Passing Light Of Day"

And now I also bought:

Ray Wilson - "Makes Me Think Of Home"
Ray Wilson - "Song For A Friend"
Ray Wilson - "Genesis Vs Stiltskin: 20 Years And More"
Cut_ - "Millionairhead"

and:

IQ - "Ever"
Big Big Train - "Grimspound"
The Lens - "A Word In Your Eye"
The Lens - "Regeneration"

Those were all bargains I tell you!!
Or so I tell myself...
Please tell me I did the right thing...

Please tell me I did the right thing...

The only thing that really interests me here is:

Quote
Pain Of Salvation - "In The Passing Light Of Day"

unless you can give me a warm recommendation - according to my taste, Paxi.
