« on: Thu, 2009-08-13, 23:19:19 »
Hello all! I am new here.
I know this is a long shot , but, does anyone know where I can get a copy of "The Visitor - (Revisited)" & "Radiance"  ???
(also, Is "Unlocking The Cage 1995-2000" a live album or compilation?)
I would LOVE to find these!!! Please!

Thank you!
Randy

I've been looking for The Visitor Revisited as well. Can't find it anywhere.
That goes the same for Welcome Back! To The Cage.

Both albums can't be found on the Verglas.com site cq store.
Unlocking The Cage is somewhat of a compilation album. A few live tracks, a few never heard/never released songs.

A must-have when you are an Arenatic.  ;)

Hi everyone,

just registered and this is my first post so hello to all.

I've just been on the cage website and noticed that the Contagium Max cd is listed as a Cage release.

I remember 4 years ago this being muted as a release with Clive waiting to put the finishing touches to it. but it seemed to get put back due to other commitments.

When I used to get the paper magazine release of the cage, the last edition offered member's the chance to get the cd and we all received a card asking for it to be returned to the Cage to register our interest.

That seemed to die away, so my question is this, has this cd ever been released or is it still in the pipeline?
Id it has (or is t be) is it possible to get a copy as I have every single release Arena have aver done (cd & dvd) and would obviously love to complete ny collection?

Regards :D

Paul

Contagion Max has not been released yet. Last time we asked (2007), Clive stated that it may be released in the future but is not a priority. He also more or less said that it will be released if there's enough demand for it, so we just have to organize that here on the forum ;) (see featured interview with Mick and Clive at www.welcometothecage.com

Maybe they can only release it as a give away for the cage and the forum members?  ;D ;)

Hi all, I figured what I'm about to say might fit in this thread.

Today I stepped in my favourite prog shop. You know, the small, slightly dusty air-filled store with so many shelves that you can't walk normally, loud and eccentric music plays in the background that you don't necessarily like but are happy to forget about because this is where good music is found!

That kind of shop.

It is there that I found "Radiance" and "Unlocking The Cage" in the 'Arena' shelve. (Yes they have an Arena shelve.)
I had no money on me and I absolutely need to buy a new bike soon, so for now that's on my priority list. But man, my hands were itching to buy it!!

Then I walked in another music store and there it was again!

A few questions popped in my head:
How can this be? Are the Cage items being re-released?
And where can I find money?

Yes, they have been (re-)released, I think at the end of last year.
I believe I've read it on DPRP or some site like that.

Was that in the proggy store at the centre of Amersfoort?
I've been planning to go there some time now, keep on forgetting that.

Ah alright! Great thing!

Yes, "Velvet Music Amersfoort" (formerly known as "de Nootzaak" ;D). It's a side street of the "Langestraat" called "Havik".
There's another (less proggy) shop in the "Langestraat" called "Sam Sam".

They weren't selling those at the gig in Zoetermeer, Netherlands last year.
Doesn't matter for me really since I already have those.
I'm still searching for Welcome Back to the Cage and The Visitor Revisited.

If you have a hard time looking for those rare CDs, the gigs might be a good occasion to find them. I personally bought Contagious and Radiance at an Arena show, so look for "shopping stands" (is that correct?) at the next ones. ;)

Hey Draco, thanks for that.
But Contagious is not a Cage release and is not really hard to find. At the moment, Radiance is reissued and can be bought in the local progrock stores.

But albums like "Welcome Back To The Cage" and "The Visitor Revisited" are really hard to find and I'm not certain that you can buy them at concerts.

That's true, sorry about that. I did see some copies of Unlocking the Cage at gigs, but not of The Visitor Revisited.
